ARTISTIC REPRODUCTION N.13 OF OINOCHOE ETRUSCO IN BUCCHERO

This is an artistic reproduction of a terracotta OINOCHOE ETRUSCO in BUCCHERO. This replica is made entirely by hand, turned and engraved by local artists. To get this result is cooked in twice with ancient techniques that the master potters of the place have managed to discover after many attempts to reproduce these vessels.
  
They are also coated hand artificially to give the effect of "old" object, decorations although imitate the originals of the vases found in Etruscan tombs of Cerveteri, are the result of the work and talent of each master potter, and each work is unique and different.
L 'oinochoe is a jug used to pour the wine taken from the craters. Form more widespread since ancient, presents a round body, more or less lengthened and a flared neck, equipped with a single handle, sometimes raised over the rim, with rim almost always trilobal or beak. Oinochoe lower and potbellied chous was called in ancient times and was used in particular during Anthesteria, Athenian festival in honor of Dionysus. Etruria was also used for mixing wine.
The BUCCHERO is not a quality of purified clay, but a cooking technique that was done only in Etruria. It was to play in clay pots that were metal, giving it with black the feeling of having metal objects, much more expensive and highly regarded in the ancient world
This reproduction of OINOCHOE is 21 cm high, with a foot of 5.7 cm and a diameter of 11.7 cm, with loop and geometric graffiti in almost the entire surface of the vase with artificial patina handmade, like everything rest.
This is a unique piece, completely machined, graffiti, cooked and glazed by hand.
This reproduction traveling with a certificate issued by our shop where it is certified that this vessel is an artistic reproduction of a vase in Etruscan bucchero, attestation, there are photos of the vessel, the day of purchase and the number of tax receipt or invoice (on request).
